First Industrial Realty Trust Announces Pricing of $150 Million of Senior Notes Due 2017

CHICAGO, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR), the nation's largest provider of diversified industrial real estate, today announced the public offering of $150 million of 5.95% senior unsecured notes due 2017 of its operating partnership, First Industrial, L.P., under an existing shelf registration statement.

The notes were initially offered to the public at a price of 99.73 percent of their principal amount. The notes are being issued in fully registered form.

Proceeds from the sale of these notes are expected to be used to repay existing borrowings under First Industrial's revolving credit facility, the acquisition and development of additional properties and/or general corporate purposes. Subsequent to the sale of these notes, First Industrial expects to repay its $150 million of 7.60% Senior Notes due 2007 maturing on May 15, 2007.

Joint bookrunning lead underwriters for the offering are J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC.
